What is electrolyzed water?
Water that has been altered by an electrical current in order to separate the alkaline and acidic content is known as Electrolyzed/Oxidizing water. It is new to the U.S. but has been used in Japan for over 25 years now.
How is it made?
Electrolyzed water is produced by applying an electrical current to a dilute saltwater solution. This process causes the Ions in the water to separate ~ sending the negative Ions (alkaline water) to one side of an electrical current, and the positive Ions (acidic water) on the other side
Why is negatively charged (alkaline) water beneficial?
Most tap water and bottled water is made of large, unstructured water molecules that are not able to easily penetrate the cells in the human body. The process used to make Electrolyzed water, breaks the water molecules into smaller units which can penetrate cells much more efficiently than normal water. This process creates the perfect environment for the absorption of the nutrients. Why is positively charged (acidic) water beneficial?
The process of electrolyzing water, changes the oxidation reduction potential of the water to a much higher level.
